However, Heidegger's Being and Time is actually part of an incomplete project that Heidegger never 'finished', although the project was continued in later essays to figure the meaning of being “as such” and not just the being of Dasein (see pgs 63-64 for Heidegger's outline of his entire project). The major work of one of the most prominent philosophers of the 20th century, Martin Heidegger, is “Being and Time,” a profound study of these two topics. Thinking therefore is a bringing-to or a sending-forth, which is similar to the formulation Heidegger has in Being and Time of the “es gibt” or “there is” / “it gives,” in which the “it” designates Being. But, altogether the most important thing to say is that the author, in attempting to come to terms with Heidegger, forces the reader to do the same. His ideas are inspired by Concerned with existence and the nature of being, it is equally interested in associated questions about time.
